Data Collection and Storage

By default, we do not store any data of the user on any other medium than the smartphone and the open project instance that the user configures. Your data remains under your control and is stored locally on your device.

Optional Data Sharing

In case the user opts in to sharing crash logs and anonymous session data, we store this information on a self-hosted Countly instance. This helps us improve the application by understanding how it's being used and identifying potential issues. You can opt-out at any time through the app settings.

Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data based on your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) for optional analytics and legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) for app functionality and improvement.

Categories of Personal Data

• App usage data (stored locally on your device)
• Open Project configuration data (stored locally)
• Optional: Anonymous crash logs and session analytics (only if you opt-in)
• Optional: Device information for app functionality

Data Retention

• Local app data: Retained until you delete the app or clear app data
• Optional analytics data: Retained for a maximum of 5 years
• Open Project data: Controlled by your Open Project instance settings

Third-Party Data Sharing

No data will be shared with large companies like Google or similar third-party services. We are committed to keeping your data private and secure. Any optional analytics data is processed on our self-hosted infrastructure.

Our app is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
